Rental Agreement
Policy:
We require a signed
rental agreement from all customers. The rental
agreement will be sent to you at the time you make
your reservation. The rental agreement will need to
be signed, dated and returned. If you are paying
your deposit by cash, check, money order or
cashier's check it must be returned with the
agreement. If you make a last minute reservation you
will be required to sign the agreement when the
equipment is delivered. If the reservation is made
less than 72 hours before the event a credit card
will be required for deposit.
Charges/Payment
Policy:
Deposit payments
are due at the time of reservation and will be
applied to your rental cost. Deposit payments can be
made by cash, credit card, check, money order or
cashier’s check. The balance is due when the
equipment is delivered. Final payment can be made
by cash, credit card, check, money order or
cashier’s check.
Deposit Policy:
We require a $50.00
deposit at the time of reservation. Deposit payments
can be made by cash, credit card, check, money order
or cashier’s check. If paying the deposit by cash,
check, money order or cashier’s check it must be
sent with your signed agreement. If the reservation
is made less than 72 hours before the event a credit
card will be required for deposit.
Cancellations
Policy:
If you must cancel
please contact us as soon as possible at
1-630-595-0585.
We will provide a
full refund of your deposit for cancellations made
at least 72 hours in advance of your reserved time.
If you cancel with less than 72 hours your deposit
is non-refundable. For reservations made less than
72 hour before your event the deposit is not
refundable. The only exception to this policy is if
your reservation is cancelled due to weather, see
the Weather Policy below. If your reservation is
cancelled due to our Weather Policy your deposit is
fully refundable. If there are weather concerns the
day of your event we will contact you the morning of
your event to determine if your reservation will be
cancelled. If at this time we decide to deliver your
equipment no refunds will be given for any reason.
No refunds will be given once the equipment is out
for delivery.
Delivery/Set-up/Pick-up Policy:
Delivery, set-up
and pick-up are provided with your rental. Delivery
and pick up times may vary due to routing and
scheduling but will be delivered prior to your
scheduled start time and picked up after your
scheduled end time. If you require a specific
delivery or pick-up time please inquire at the time
of reservation, we will do our best to accommodate
your needs. Assessment of a safe set up location
prior to delivery is your responsibility, if you are
not sure about your set up location please contact
us in advance and we can discuss the set up
requirements. If at the time of delivery it is
determined that the renter’s preferred set up
location may compromise safety or present risk of
damage to the equipment an alternative site will
need to be found. If an alternative site cannot be
found full payment will be due.
Public Property
Events Policy:
When setting up on
public property many municipalities have additional
insurance and/or permit requirements. If your set up
location is on public property contact the
municipality to check their requirements and you
must communicate this information to us. You will be
responsible for securing any necessary permits.
Depending on the insurance requirements, the
municipality may be added as an "additionally
insured" which can be done for an additional fee.
Weather Policy:
Weather is out of our control and
safety is our primary concern. Weather may include
rain, high wind, snow, lightning, etc. Moonwalks
operate using electricity and become very slippery
when wet. Rain and snow can damage the moonwalk and
makes cleaning very timely and costly. High winds
(20mph or more) and lightning are also serious
safety risks. The moonwalk must not be used if
these weather conditions exist. No electrical
equipment should
be operated in the rain.
Wacky NAAK’s
Moonwalks & More reserves the right to cancel your
reservation due to weather conditions we feel are
unsafe. If we feel weather conditions are safe but
there is rain present or is forecast we will contact
you to determine if your reservation should be
cancelled, see Cancellation Policy above. If there
are weather concerns at your set up location and you
have not heard from us, please contact us, it may be
fine at our location. Set ups will not be done if
weather concerns are present, if there are weather
concerns when we arrive we will determine if set up
will be possible within a reasonable period of time,
once we set up full payment is due. Your deposit is
not refundable unless we cancel your reservation
before leaving our location for delivery.
Staking of
Moonwalks/Underground Utilities Policy:
Wacky NAAK’s Moonwalks & More will not be held
responsible for underground utilities or sprinkler
system damage when staking down moonwalks. This also
poses a safety risk. Please consider any underground
obstacles when choosing a set up location. If you
are not sure about the underground utilities of your
set up location you should contact the utilities
companies or if possible contact JULIE (Joint
Utility Locating Information for Excavators) at
1-800-892-0123 to mark the area prior to delivery.
Equipment
Cleaning
Policy:
Normal cleaning of
grass, leaves and some dirt is expected and you will
not be charged for normal cleaning. If we are
required to provide excessive cleaning, a fee of no
less than $75.00 will be imposed. Items that are not
permitted on or in the moonwalk include, but are not
limited to: silly string, liquids, beverages, food
of any type, candy, sand, rocks and toys. Water
should never be applied to the moonwalk. Failure to
follow the instructions for rain will result in a
minimum $100 charge to clean and dry the moonwalk.
Damage charges may also apply.
Equipment Damage
Policy:
We do not offer
damage insurance. If you damage the equipment or any
parts are damaged or missing, whether intentionally
or by accident, we will advise you of how much
repair or replacements costs are and you will need
to pay for it.
Damage to Sod or
Grass Policy:
While we do our
best to minimize any damage to your sod or grass, we
will not be responsible for any damage to sod or
grass.
Returned Check
Policy:
A processing fee,
not less then twenty-five dollars ($25.00), will be
charged for checks on which payment has been refused
by the payer’s bank because of insufficient funds or
because the drawer did not have an account at that
bank.
